It features a welded structural steel frame built to bring weight to the floor level, enhancing machine capacity and rigidity. Unlike machines with suspension legs, the ShopMaster eliminates concerns about frame deflection, even when cutting thicker materials. Paired with our renowned industrial structural tube steel gantry, this machine’s foundation is engineered for precision and durability.
Every ShopSabre ShopMaster Series plasma cutter comes standard with advanced Mitsubishi AC digital servo motors featuring glass encoder technology on the X, dual Y, and Z axes. These are paired with direct-drive planetary gears for exceptional accuracy, reduced maintenance, and increased power. The ShopMaster delivers rapid speeds of up to 2500 IPM and includes an integrated 24″ water table with pneumatic air bladder technology for easy water level adjustment. Additionally, a built-in part catch tray makes retrieving your parts effortless. Prefer a down-draft system? We also offer an optional automated zone-controlled down-draft technology!

ShopSabre CNC frames are FEA-engineered and tested, constructed from massive 4x4 structural steel tubes that are welded for added rigidity and supported laterally along the floor to suspend no weight. Each ShopMaster Series frame includes a ladder-braced floor design for increased floor contact and superior vibration control. The large 24" pan is reinforced for added strength and cross-braced to improve rigidity and load capacity.

AC Digital Servo Motors
ShopSabre ShopMaster PRO machines come standard with AC-powered digital closed-loop servo motors featuring glass encoder technology. These motors deliver higher speeds, greater accuracy, and less maintenance than traditional machines in this class, achieving impressive speeds of up to 2500 IPM. Self-monitoring encoder technology ensures extreme performance, as closed-loop servos eliminate missed steps, loss of accuracy, and torque reduction. Servos also offer enhanced acceleration and motor stability, improving performance on thin materials, tighter tolerance cutting, and extended duty cycles. The Mitsubishi servo system enables HD cutting solutions without machine limitations.

ShopSabre CNC frames go through some of the world’s most advanced processes to ensure accuracy, including precision milling of contact surfaces for bearing and rail placement, as well as ball screw mounts. A machine can only be as precise as its foundation, and the frame on a ShopSabre is built to a higher tolerance than the competition.
